This only happened once or twice while playing and the game allows you to reload to the last checkpoint so its not game breaking. There were some minor issues with getting trapped in the map. The voice acting was also top class though unfortunately there wasn't enough of it. The sound effects were well placed and believable. The soundtrack was well suited to the game and enjoyable to hear while playing. I found myself easily immersed in the game world. Subsequent playthroughs took far less as you know the path to take, the answers to the puzzles, and get more skilled at using the jet pack to make the longer distance jumps.Īs with any indie game, the graphics aren't stunning but the levels are visually appealing, well designed, varied and not to linear. I took my time with my first playthrough and found that it took in the region of 7 hours to get through the game. Some can be a bit tricky but for the most part anyone with an IQ over 50 should have no trouble solving them.
#Lifeless planet premier edition pc gameplay series
There are a series of puzzles and roadblocks you have to figure out in order to progress through the game.

Some of these jumps can be a little challenging but the game is generous in the number of checkpoints it gives you. Some of the game consists of jumping your way across low level ground while other parts require the jet pack to make a series of long distance jumps. The platforming was probably the most enjoyable part of the game. You will need to explore to find the dozen or more collectibles along your way so I didn't find it boring or tedious. The walking part can be sped up by using the jet pack to jump. The game essentially consists of walking, platforming, and some not to difficult puzzles.
